Our March member of the month is Alexa, a regular 6 AM’er. Here’s what Ethan, head trainer at FitWit has to say, “Alexa has been a staple member of the 6 am crew. Her drive to keep working through injury and find the challenge in a workout is one of her biggest attributes in the gym. Alexa has an uncanny way of embracing the art of using data and measuring her progress in the gym, whether tackling heavyweights during any strength workout or pushing her pace on a 2K Row. She knows her numbers and numbers never lie!”
Next time you see Alexa in the gym give her a high five for all her hard work in the gym!

When did you first start FitWiting? July 2015
Tell us about your sports & fitness background: I was a soccer player from age 4 until I got pregnant with my second child. After that time, I dabbled in triathlons and half marathons until I found FitWit. I also played tennis for many years and picked up golf in the past few years.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting Fit
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like FitWit that were totally unexpected? I have completely adjusted to waking up early to work out, and I definitely feel a void if I miss a couple of workouts as a result of travel. And I love being part of a community of people who are always there to cheer each other on during workouts.
Why do you FitWit? To be my best self.
Favorite workouts? Tempo strength, air bike sprints, sled workouts, erg sprints, anything Tabata
Least favorite workouts? Anything involving running
Three words to describe you: hardworking, analytical, curious
Any favorite FitWit moments? Hitting my 1, 2, and 3-year FitWit anniversaries with the 5 other newbies that started on the same day as me in 2015 at 6 AM.
Fitness Goals? Stay strong and fit for many years to come.
Words to live by? I don’t have a favorite quote, but my least favorite quote is any command given to an Amazon Echo, like “Alexa, tell me the weather!”
Something cool we don’t know about you? I love to travel, and I’ve visited 6 of the 7 continents (and would be totally fine never visiting Antarctica!).
