Hey FitWit Nation! Meet Brian. Brian has been a phenomenal camper here at FitWit since September. He is a long and short distance runner, a fan of all Atlanta sports, and a Navy Vet. Thanks for your service, Brian! He is also our April Member of the Month! Ever since September, he has been showing up and bringing the heat to our evening and now morning classes, and it has not been unnoticed. There is a certain friendly down to earth catch about Brian along with his downright time to get to work attitude. He puts in 110% effort in the workouts and monthly challenges showing great things about his persistence and determination. Brian also mentioned to us that he is in better shape now at 40, then he was at 20 when he was in the US Navy. Congrats Brian and keep up the great work!

Tell us about your sports & fitness background: Track (800m, 400m, 1 mile), Cross Country in high school, recreational basketball, 7 ½ marathons, 2 Peachtree road races, and a lot of sandlot races.
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health, and fitness since starting FitWit? Mainly noticing that the workouts get a little easier, I also saw that I’m getting a little more toned up.
Why do you FitWit? I really like the trainers. They are quick to correct my form if I’m doing something wrong and are also encouraging in trying more advanced moves in the workout, i.e., push up with a clip or pull up with weights. Good Job!
Favorite workouts? If I have to choose one, I would say the erg just because I improved the most on it.
Least favorite workouts? The air bike 1-minute sprint
Three words to describe you: positive, competitive, and easy going
Any favorite FitWit moments? I really enjoyed team week (team evil). Thank you team good for not making it easy!
Fitness Goals? I want to stay in shape for as long as I can. In 20 years I want them saying dang look at that old man go!!
Words to live by (Favorite Quote)? You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find that you get what you need.
Something cool we don’t know about you? I’m all Atlanta. GO UNITED, BRAVES, HAWKS, AND FALCONS! I’m also a Navy vet stationed on board of the USS John C. Stennis in San Diego, CA (the seventh Nimitz-class nuclear-powered supercarrier in the U.S Navy).
