When did you first start FitWiting? Oh gosh! I think in 2015? 3ish years ago!

Tell us about your sports & fitness background: I played lots of sports growing up. Soccer and snowboarding were my favorites! It wasn’t until after college that I got really disciplined about training but I was constantly injured because I was completely clueless about proper form. FitWit’s programming has been a game changer for me! I can train really hard every day and am injury free. It’s amazing!

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting FitWit? Oh man! Great question! Before FitWit I hardly did cardio and only lifted heavy heavy weights everyday. I was 45 lbs heavier than I am now and had a significantly different body type. I literally didn’t have a neck. I really struggled to run a mile (or really run at all) because I was so bulky. FitWit’s emphasis on conditioning helped me lean out a lot. Also I am much stronger and faster, and can lift wayyy more now than I could before I joined FitWit.

What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like FitWit that were totally unexpected? Being able to deadlift our dog, Stitch, a 90 lb great dane mix, into our SUV. Being able to ride the entire Cape Cod coast (50 plus miles) on a beach cruiser to make it to the Carnival Festival in Provincetown. Being able to bike home after the gym and beat Google Map’s commute estimate.

Why do you FitWit?

  1. FitWitters. Hands down! We have met our best friends in Atlanta through FitWit. Sasha Friedman (FitWit 6amer) officiated our wedding for goodness sake!
  2. Because I REALLY, REALLY love the programming. The programming is extremely challenging and gets me to do movements that I wouldn’t choose to do on my own (like lateral bounds and ninjas).
  3. To become the best version of myself!

Favorite workouts? 50 burpee challenge for time, 1 min bike sprint, resisted hill sprints, pretty much any heavy kettlebell day.

Least favorite workouts? Eeeeeek so hard! I really do just love them all so much!

Three words to describe you: Super Positive, Super Energetic, Super Hard Worker!

Any favorite FitWit moments? When Tara Mullin took on a drone (and its owner) that was in our way during a workout at the Skate Park. Last year’s Hans and Franz banquet video (if you havn’t seen it…ask Lisa!!!)

Words to live by (Favorite Quote)? “Be the person your dog thinks you are” – I failed miserably trying to figure out who originally said this.

Something cool we don’t know about you? I drive a 25 year old bad ass purple truck that we lovingly refer to as the “Purple Nurple”
