Fall into Shape Winners Revealed!

The Fall into Shape Challengers have crossed the finish line and the results are in! The participants did an awesome job completing daily challenges and cheering each other on.  During the last four weeks, the challenge participants followed the Whole30 Program and practiced daily habits to help build a better mindset around nutrition and health. Mastering small habits at a time is what helps make your nutrition habits sustainable which leads to lasting changes and results. Many reported improving their kitchen skills as well by attending our Meal Prep 101 class and our Healthy Cooking Class with Clean Plate Club Atl. 

“I can do hard things. Especially hard things that I have overthought to pieces and come up with a thousand reasons why I shouldn’t even try. This has probably been the most impactful part of this challenge for me.” ~Emily

Participants are encouraged to make goals in the beginning of the challenge and these goals include more than just weight loss. Many wanted to improve energy, become a better cook, stick to the challenge 100% and more!


While there were a lot of physical changes participates reached their other goals and reported things like increased energy, quality sleep, making better choices while traveling and on the go, and better at managing stress. That’s what it’s all about folks!

The overall results are outstandingOut of the 38 finishers in just four short weeks, There was over 102 pounds of fat lost. Great work y’all!

While the challengers did a great job sticking to the Whole30 program, the Fall into Shape Callenge is WAY MORE than what to eat and what not to eat.  We also practiced daily habits such as no social media, meditation, and spending time with friends, and drinking more water. All of these practices encourage you to view your health holistically and to learn how all these things impact your nutrition choices. This allows you to become more aware of how your habits impact your health and what changes you need to make that are best for you. Realizing your mindset towards food and your eating habits can empower you to make different nutrition choices that are best for you! Check out all the things the challengers learned…

These practices are so important to learn so you do not go on a downward spiral if you feel like you have eaten something “bad.” Challengers really learned that if you make a choice that is not in line with your goals that doesn’t mean all is lost. Instead, changing their mindset to pick right back up and keep going; persistence over perfection!

We all increased our Kitchen IQ in our Cooking Class with our very own Michelle S., owner of Clean Plate Club Atl. We indulged in delicious recipes including coconut pancakes, hoisin sauce over chicken, and pistachio salsa verde.


You have likely heard one of your FitWit coaches tell you that what you do in the kitchen can either enhance or diminish all that hard work you put in at the gym. Nutrition makes up to 80% of your body composition, and what you fuel your body with matters. Cooking gives you the most control over what you eat! Whether you participated in the challenge or not we are here to help support, educate, and challenge you with your nutrition.

Jennifer M  is the winner for gaining the most points. Jennifer also did an awesome job at losing body fat by dropping a whopping 4% of body fat! Check out how Jennifer felt about the challenge:

I’ve talked about getting the weight off for 2.5 years, but haven’t been able to get myself focused. The winners for the HIGHEST and GREATEST overall fat percentage lost are: (calculated as Body Fat% #1 – Body Fat% #2 / Body Fat % #1) 
Note: This is the percentage of body fat loss relative to their starting point. So, some folks may have lost more lbs of fat total, but they have a smaller total fat loss percentage relative to their starting pounds of fat.

Catherine lost over 7 pounds of fat and dropped her body fat percentage by 4.6%, with an overall total fat mass loss of over 20%! Catherine participated in the challenge with the goals of feeling stronger during day-to-day activities at work and with my family, fitting back into her pre-baby clothes a bit better, and determining if she has any food sensitives. Bravo to Catherine for reaching those goals! Give her a big high five the next time you see her.




Kevin lost over 10 pounds of fat and dropped his body fat percentage by over 3%,with an overall total fat mass loss of over 12%!  Kevin has been a long time FW member at the Kirk. He rocked the challenge even while traveling for work and attending sporting events! Give Kevin a big ol’ pat on the back the next time you see him.
