As trainers, we’ve been impressed with how our members have continued to find success in their fitness journeys even under the challenging circumstances of the past couple of months. We’re highlighting a number of their stories in this ongoing series.
Dan and Elizabeth C. have been amazing evening members. They’ve jumped headfirst into the at-home workouts, attending pretty much all of the evening live Zoom classes. They have missed one class separately but participated wholeheartedly when their spouse wasn’t there. Elizabeth has attended a few Zoom meetups and engaged in conversation with the other great members in attendance.
Elizabeth and Dan were staples in the evening classes at Kirkwood where they gave their all at each move. Now they bring a great spirit to the small evening, online classes. Whether in their driveway on sunny days or in their garage on rainy days, nothing stops this duo from being healthy and consistent during this time. I even employed their dog Lily to watch their form during the workout, as she can often be seen standing nearby. I’m proud of their consistency and admire the hard work they put in at each workout.
In a recent email, Elizabeth stated, “Thank you for continuing the live workout in the evening. We both have found that we work harder and keep a better pace than when we watch the recording.”
Hey Dan and Elizabeth! Whenever you show up, I’ll be ready. Thanks!
