Tell us about your sports & fitness background: Soccer as a little kid, and classical Indian dance through high school. I started working out after my freshman year of college. Some sort of exercise has been a part of my life since then. It’s been a way to stay sane. 🙂
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting FitWit? I haven’t quantified too much, but I know FitWit helps me feel stronger and well challenged, and helps clear my mind.
What sort of changes in your life have you experienced out of taking on something like FitWit that were totally unexpected? FitWit has been a steady reminder that I can do more than I think I can, which has pushed me to take on healthy risks outside the gym.
Why do you FitWit? To live the active life I want to live in a mentally healthy space.
Favorite workouts? Thursdays – weights are fun!
Least favorite workouts? The air bike is my nemesis.

Any favorite FitWit moments? When Lisa challenged me to try an unassisted pull up for the first time. She had more faith in me than I did.

Words to live by (Favorite Quote)? My daughter recently had an assignment to create a 6 word memoir, and she asked me what mine would be…Authenticity is always the right answer.
