Were you smarter than a 5th grader this morning in the workout? Sometimes we’ll throw a little game into the mix to keep things fun because we don’t think every single workout should leave you crawling out the door and sore for days. It brings balance, a little competition and a bit of community building.
And if that’s jam, you’re going to love the FitWit TeamGames! It goes down in four weeks, so please gather up 3 or 4 other folks and prepare to do battle in a series of workouts and games throughout the morning. Then, stay for a catered taco/burrito bar as we roll right into our member appreciation party. Fun for the whole family!

Member Appreciation Party – Whether or not you attend the FitWit Team Games on the morning of Aug 26, you’re still invited to our annual member appreciation party that starts around 11:30 am. Double Under Workshop – If you want to spend an hour with Beka “the double under wizard” Carson, head over HERE ASAP and claim your spot. We need 10 sign-ups for this thing to be a go. The workshop will be held at FitWit O4W on Saturday, August 4 at 11:15 am and the cost is $20. Sign up here! Whether you are looking to get your 1st double under or your 50th, Beka will drop some knowledge, share skills, drills, and progressions to help you get there.
Do you want to do yoga 1x/week? – We’re exploring a partnership with Seviin yoga (a studio off Hosea in Kirkwood) whereby FitWit members could tack on a 5x/month membership to their studio for only $30 more per month. This would enable you to do one yoga class each week to supplement the work you do at FitWit. Yoga offers a great opportunity to work on your flexibility, which is different than mobility in that it’s more passive stretching than active control. Both are valuable!

Nutrition Coaching Program – Sandybell is now officially Precision Nutrition certified and will be leading a new group of folks through the program starting in the next two weeks. If weight loss is a goal of yours, check out the details here and feast your eyes on some of the transformation pictures from last year’s Precision Nutrition winners.
This is a NOT a quick-fix program. It’s a habit-based approach to empower you with the skills and know-how to change your body AND sustain it! AND, we’re also including one FREE Inbody scan each month to hold you accountable and track your progress.

TRX Thursday evenings – Katie will be teaching her last Thursday TRX class next week, so that class will be dropping off the schedule for now. Her schedule will be changing and she won’t be able to teach that class anymore. The good news – she’s still here on Wed and Friday mornings for TRX!
Monthly Challenge – Last few days of the mobility challenge are upon us! Did you meet your goal of 12 focused mobility sessions this month? If so, congrats on that newfound thoracic spine mobility and those supple hips – enjoy them and use them for good in this world! And, make sure to write your name up on the whiteboard so that your name is entered into the raffle!

Fat loss or muscle gain goal? – You can get tested with the Inbody any Wednesday or Saturday. If you have a fat loss or muscle gain goal, this test will give you some valuable data to help you refine your plan and maximize success.
