If my child is 13, which program is more appropriate – YAD or FitTeens?

The YAD program is a more structured training program for kids who are serious about improving athletic ability and getting stronger. Many of our YAD participants play a sport, but we also have participants that don’t play a sport but simply want to get stronger.

The FitTeens class is an exercise and movement-based class that focuses on getting teens active and moving. Class will consist of a workout, but not in the same structure as a YAD class. Typically, there will be some type of game or obstacle course in a FitTeens class. There is less focus on things like jumping and sprint mechanics or lifting technique and more focus on making fitness fun and a life-long pursuit.
