Who: Kids (ages 11 – 14) interested in improving athletic performance, specifically speed, agility, mobility and power. [Note: 15 – 18 yr. old class coming soon! Email josh@fitwit.com to get on this list.]
When: Mondays, 5 – 6 pm at our Kirkwood gym location. Soon to add Wednesdays, 7:15 – 8:15 pm and Fridays, 6:15 – 7:15 pm.
Here’s a vid of a single-leg landing/balance drill.
What: Each class is be broken down into four parts:
- Dynamic warm up and mobility
- Core Work
- Jumping/Landing Fundamentals, Plyometrics, Power and Agility
- Strength and Conditioning
The level of difficulty and intensity for each skill will be modified to meet the needs and age of each child in the class.
